John Calogero joined the Sowing Growth Board of Directors in 2025. For the past twenty years, he has worked in the Agricultural Industry. His career ranges from ag tourism to agronomic research and almost everything in between. John’s bachelor’s degree is in Ag business and economics. After college, John began working in the Ag retail industry and relocated to Michigan to raise his family. John worked for Michigan State University and managed potato variety trials across the state. He was then promoted to assistant farm manager at the Agronomy Farm, where he helped research staff carry out their work. For over nine years, John has held a role in the ag retail sector and currently manages the agronomy department at Jorgensen Farm Elevator in Williamston.
