Michelle lives in a rural part of Mason and has two grown children. She has a passion for farmer’s markets and gardening. Serving as Sowing Growth Treasurer from 2020-2024, she was elected as Treasurer again this year to fill a vacancy. Michelle brings to the Board a strong entrepreneurial mindset honed by over 25 years of experience as an independent contractor providing bookkeeping services to both non-profit organizations and private sector businesses. Many of Michelle’s clients are located in and around the Williamston area. Michelle has been treasurer for Capital City Film Fest, Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance, and Local 826 Apprenticeship Committee. With a strong network of non-profits in the Lansing area, Michelle provides guidance and makes connections with people that support the efforts of Sowing Growth and the Market. Her collaborative efforts have promoted and raised awareness of the Sowing Growth mission to others while strengthening its financial health.
