Marci K. Scott, PhD, RDN 

Marci Scott serves as Vice President of Programs at Michigan Fitness Foundation, where she has helped develop and advance a wide range of public health initiatives, including Farmers Market Food Navigator, Michigan Farm to Family: CSA, Michigan Harvest to Table, EPEC Play, and Healthy Schools, Healthy Communities.

A dedicated community leader, she served three terms on the Williamston Community Schools Board of Education, including 12 years as board president. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics with High Honors from Michigan State University, as well as a Master of Medical Science from Emory University, and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She was first elected to the Advisory Council in 2024.

Outside of her professional work, she enjoys using her Master Gardener expertise to grow fresh food and enhance her surroundings, and treasures her time with her grandchildren: Holly, Eve, Robert, Mazie, and Alma Jean.
